Prepare to play…Prepared for life

At MindRondo, we use tools to help athletes stay connected to the sport they love while preparing for every part of life ahead. This is how we prepare to play—by pursuing our goals with clarity, balance, and purpose.

Setting Your Child Up for Success

If you're eager to give your child a head start on future athelic opportunities, I offer specialized support tailored to different grade levels, designed to set the foundation for future success.

  • Today’s young athletes are entering highly competitive environments earlier than ever before. From a young age, they face intense pressure to perform, specialize in one sport, and stand out—often before they’ve had the chance to fully develop emotionally, socially, or academically. The drive to compete at high levels can bring incredible opportunities, but it also introduces real challenges: burnout, performance anxiety, and difficulty maintaining balance across school, sport, and personal life.

As the demands on student-athletes grow, so does the need for intentional support. They need tools to manage pressure, build resilience, set meaningful goals, and maintain a healthy connection to the sport they love. With the right guidance, young athletes can thrive not only in competition, but in life—developing the clarity and confidence to grow through every season of their journey

  • Sessions with student and parent(s) will include athletic wellness assessment, transcript analysis, course selection, summer planning, extra-curricular planning, standardized testing plan, and initial list of colleges to visit.

  • Junior year student-athletes juggle a lot—challenging classes, standardized tests, and maintaining strong grades for college eligibility, all while managing the demands of competitive sports. They’re balancing training, performance, and recovery, often deciding whether to specialize or stay multi-sport. At the same time, they’re exploring colleges, communicating with coaches, building resumes, and staying on top of NCAA timelines. Alongside all of this, they’re learning to manage stress, build confidence, navigate friendships, and prepare for life after high school. From time management and goal setting to making big decisions about their future, it’s a full and formative season—and one that benefits from thoughtful support and guidance.

  • Senior year is a pivotal time for student-athletes. As they manage demanding coursework, finalize testing, and maintain strong grades, they're also deep into the college application process. This means writing thoughtful essays, requesting recommendations, completing applications, and staying organized with deadlines. For athletes, there’s the added layer of staying in communication with college coaches, updating highlight reels, attending visits, and understanding scholarship or eligibility requirements. All of this happens while they're still competing, training, and managing the physical and mental demands of their sport. It's a season full of pressure and possibility—one that calls for focus, resilience, and a strong support system to help navigate what comes next.
